Project work
Everything we do for a client runs under a signed statement of work. The site is not an offer and nothing here forms a contract.
Ownership of the work
On final payment, full ownership of the delivered work transfers to the client, including source files. Typeface licences are held in the client's name — we advise on selection but never sublicense through the studio.
We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio and to describe our thinking in writing, unless a confidentiality agreement says otherwise.
Fees and changes
Fixed-scope work is quoted once and we absorb our own estimation errors. Material changes to scope are agreed in a written change note before the work continues; we flag them the week we notice, not in the final invoice.
Invoices are payable within thirty days. Print, production and third-party licences are billed at cost.
Liability
Our liability on any engagement is limited to the fees paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
Dutch law applies, and the courts of Amsterdam have jurisdiction.
