Studio Producer

Keep fourteen projects a year moving without turning the studio into a process factory.

Discipline
Production & operations
Location
Amsterdam · On site 3 days
Contract
Permanent, full time
Salary
€52,000 – €62,000

The role

This is the role that makes the rest of the studio work. You would own scheduling, budgets, supplier relationships and the uncomfortable conversations about scope that protect the work.

We are deliberately small and deliberately slow. The job is not to increase throughput; it is to make sure the projects we take run properly.

What you would do

  • Own project schedules, resourcing and budgets across the studio
  • Run supplier and production relationships, including print and fabrication
  • Lead scope conversations with clients before they become disputes
  • Keep our estimates honest by tracking what projects actually cost us
  • Improve how we work without adding process nobody asked for

What we are looking for

  • Five or more years producing in a design, advertising or production studio
  • Real budget ownership, not just scheduling
  • Calm in scope conversations and clear in writing
  • An instinct for when a process is helping and when it is theatre

Useful, not required

  • Print production background
  • Experience in an employee-owned or partnership structure
