Product Designer
Design interfaces for the conditions they are actually used in — which means field research is part of your job, not someone else's.
The role
Our product work is mostly for operational software: field teams, ticketing, scheduling, booking. The users rarely chose the product and cannot abandon it, which raises the stakes on getting it right.
You would work with our product design lead and technology director on two engagements at a time, typically 12–26 weeks each.
What you would do
- Run contextual research in the field and turn it into design decisions
- Design flows, screens and states across the full breakpoint range
- Build and maintain design systems with documented accessibility contracts
- Work directly with client engineering teams through implementation
- Test with real users and change your mind in public when the test says so
What we are looking for
- Four or more years designing software, ideally something operational
- Evidence of research you ran yourself, not commissioned
- Strong systems thinking and documentation habits
- Accessibility treated as a design constraint rather than an audit
- Comfort being on site, in the conditions where the product is used
Useful, not required
- Front-end literacy
- Experience with design-system governance across multiple squads
